Prof. Dr. Mrinal Kanti Das obtained his MBBS from Dhaka Medical College in 1984 and completed an MS in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Dhaka Medical College Hospital in 2008. He served as an Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at Dhaka Medical College Hospital until 2012. In 2013, he became the Departmental Head of Burn & Plastic Surgery at Chittagong Medical College Hospital. During his tenure, the Department of Plastic Surgery in CMCH achieved significant improvement. In 2017, he assumed the position of Professor of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery while serving at CMCH. With over 20 years of experience in Plastic Surgery, his specialization includes cleft surgery, burn management, extensive wound care, as well as aesthetic surgery. He has attended numerous training sessions and conferences on Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery both at home and abroad.
